How to remove shortcut virus from usb flash

To remove the shortcut virus from your USB drive you can use one of the two ways

  1. command prompt 
  2. USB fix application
1.command prompt[CMD]
  • Run the CMD as the administrator
  • Connect your infected USB flash
  • Scan with recommended antivirus is there are threats delete them
  • Then type this on your command prompt attrib-h-r-s/s/dX:\*.* note that X is the name of your USB as shown on computer it can be H,E,orB
  • Then the storage file  named  drive will be created on your USB 
  • Copy the file to your computer 
  • Format the USB
  • Copy back the document in safe way with no shortcut viruses
